Clumber Hunting Snipe Dog (Definite Introduction)
In daily life, we often find that Clumber Snipe Dogs eat random things, such as ingesting some non-food soil, newspapers, feces, wall soil, etc. This condition is called pica. Caused by lack of trace elements or vitamins in the body. However, there are also some Clumber Spaniels who do not lack nutrients in their bodies, but still suffer from pica. So how do you start when you encounter these problems?
For dogs with heterophilia, the following methods should be adopted for treatment:
1. Properly match the dog’s diet to ensure the nutritional needs of the large dog, including minerals, vitamins, trace elements, etc.
2. Carefully examine the non-food items that the dog is interested in and eats these foods, that is, foreign objects; and then sprinkle irritating objects, such as pepper, chili powder, etc., on these foreign objects. And put the irritant-spreading foreign objects in a place where the dog can easily find them. Once the dog swallows the foreign objects, it will feel pungent and sad. After repeated many times, the dog's pica can be stopped.
3. Change the mousetrap to execution, and turn the mousetrap upside down. When the dog comes close to the foreign object and tries to absorb it, the mousetrap will bounce up under the action of the spring and make a crackling sound. This sudden sound and bounce will attract the dog. Scaring away the dog's pica can be interrupted after repeated repetitions. In order to increase the effectiveness of training, several mousetraps can be deployed at the same time.
4. Water gun punishment method, that is, when the dog swallows a foreign object, spray it with a water gun. After repeated several times, the method of adjustment and correction can also be achieved. It is worth noting that the water should not be sprayed into the dog’s eyes.
